The new spiritual home of Ume Burger's much loved Surry Hills venue "Bar Ume". Ume Burger Darling Square is serving up the same Japanese inspired burgers and bar food that made it a local institution. From the award-winning Chicken Katsu burger to the deliciously addictive hot chips with Umami seasoning, the menu also features a range of seasonal favourites including the amazing fried brussel sprouts with Kerby Craig's sake lees vinegar dressing, the Nagoya style chicken wings and of course the famous Ebi Katsu burger.
Kerby Craig—winner of six-consecutive Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide hats as Head Chef at Koi Restaurant in Woolwich and for his fine dining Restaurant UME— found the inspiration for his latest passion-project in the street counter-culture of Tokyo.
